So craft 7 of one inscription and then craft 1 each of all the items you need for each weapon (each weapon uses 2 unique basic components) so you end up with 14 basic components and the 7 inscriptions. Now go to discovery and double click on your stack of inscriptions.

They usually just delete the character the item was stored on. If you do actually lose a gem store item (or the character it was stored on), CS will absolutely help out. =)
